Our Story

A story of Creativity and Craftsmanship 

For over 50 years, Leo Rogna has been designing and producing textiles for menswear with a distinct soul and style: "I put my heart into everything I do."

Leo Rogna worked side-by-side with Ermenegildo Zegna from 1981 to 2007, as chief designer and line builder for many other famous brands such as Gucci, Versace, Tom Ford and YSL.

In 2007, Leonardo Rogna retired and open his own studio “Leonardo Rogna Laboratorio Tessile”. His son, Filippo, joined him in this new venture and, working with his father, gained invaluable on-the-job experience and knowledge. Together they worked on numerous projects with well-known brands and houses such as Tom Ford. 

In 2019, Lanificio Rogna was created to provide selected tailors and fashion houses with limited, curated fabric collections. This new business approach managed this time by Filippo gained immediate traction with leading players who appreciate Lanificio Rogna's personal service, unique classic interpretation of menswear as well as the passion for deep partnerships. Filippo’s unwavering desire for creativity has been the key to success in a world where nobody seems brave enough to be different. Equally important, is the company's unique approach to combining the best of British style and sophistication with Italian craftsmanship, a combination, which is unmatched and inimitable.
